Tree of Life Place Setting
I love it when the idea actually works.
A few weeks ago I was at a frustrating point: I had created several sets of plates using an idea that I just knew would work out—except that it didn’t. What should you know when coming to your first pottery class? Pt. 2
Another advantage of learning pottery in a class is that artists inspire artists! You’ll find that our group is warm, welcoming and generous, and although we are all at different skill levels and we’ve all been where you are right now.
Turquoise Lamp
Can I just say that learning to add hardware and wire lamps was not on my bingo card for my life?
But I love the idea of making things that are centered around the theme of light. I’ve made plenty of candle holders and luminarias, so the next step was lamps. This one is not my first, but my second, and I’m so happy with it.
