I am blessed to live in a very beautiful part of the world. This year the wildflowers have been amazing!
A few weeks ago I went out plein air painting–one doesn’t have to go far here to find something wonderful to paint. I finished with my first scene, then turned to begin packing up… And this scene had to be painted, too.
This is not the original…I came home and yesterday decided to paint it again and fix some of the issues I encountered in the first one.
I’m going to paint smaller for awhile…I have some small frames and it will be fun to finish more quickly than when painting the 16X20s.
