I love the smell and the thought of lavender!
Can you feel the dampness of the dew from the lavender moistening your clothes as you brush against it and can you smell the heavenly scent beginning to rise from it as it warms in the sun?
I enjoy adding gesso for texture to paintings, and used that technique on the lavender. And this is the first time ever, in three years, that I’ve ever been happy with my sky holes.
Sigh! Always pastel painting means always finding colors you don’t have, haha!
