Several months ago I made a rare trip to the thrift store, where I spent $10 buying things like this little pot to paint.
In a former life, I was a potter, so I am often captivated by the shape of different ceramic items, and this one suited my fancy.

Thank you, laurelle! I think the fact that the paper underneath is dark really helps the colors pop.
